Financial Management Studies is a peer-reviewed, scientific journal published by Universitas Negeri Padang in collaboration with Aliansi Program Studi Manajemen dan Bisnis Indonesia (APSMBI). The first issue was published in March,2021 (online). Since 2021 this journal has become an open-access peer-reviewed online journal published by Department of Management, Faculty of Economic, Universitas Negeri Padang Universitas Negeri Padang. This journal is published four times a year (March, June, August, and October) in an online version.

Since the first publication, Financial Management Studies (FMS) has been online with ISSN: 2798-4524 (online), 2798-4516 (print). In 2021, the journal was registered and indexed to several websites, including Google Scholar, and others.
